Pressure Sensitive Adhesives Cover Tape

PSA cover tapes require different processing and handling compared to Heat-Activated cover tapes and are generally considered easier to seal. The PSA adhesive is a synthetic formulation designed to remain tacky across a wide range of temperatures, including room temperature. As a result, PSA cover tapes do not need heat to seal them to the carrier. To prevent components from sticking to the adhesive, a liner film is applied over it. PSA cover tapes use continuous (cold) sealing for this process.
